The posts that follow on this blog seek to lay out various battles and wars the United States was involved in its long history. They will come either short form or long form narrative accordingly. The purpose of these posts will be to look be and examine the past through the military conflicts (as well as present actions) and see the change that occurred along the way. And in the process we will also look at the people and machines that made that change possible.
